With a total size of about 3,840 km2, Murchison falls is the biggest conservation area in Uganda. It gets its name from the Murchison Falls, a well-known waterfall. These falls are created when the Victoria Nile forcefully bursts through a small crevice and plunges 43 meters down in a deafening cascade.

The journey continues to Kibale Forest National Park which is situated in the western region of Uganda, east of the Rwenzori Mountains, close to the town of Fort Portal. Upon your arrival you will be welcomed by our company safari guide who will be waiting for you with a sign post printed with your name. He will give a short briefing about your Uganda chimpanzee safari on what you should expect, after the briefing you will start your journey to Murchison falls national park. On your way while having a bottle of water, your eyes will be filled with numerous sightings along the journey. Make several pit stops at Masindi for lunch and also at the top of the waterfalls. Nothing is more exciting than witnessing the River Nile navigate an 8-meter-wide chasm before plunging over 45 meters below as it continues on its route. You will notice that the ground is literally trembling here due to the powerful falls; this is extremely amazing because a rainbow is also present. Go on to your lodge to check in, have supper, and spend the night.
On this day, following a delectable breakfast, you will head out for a morning game drive. Your safari guide will direct you to the best locations for easy animal viewing. You will surely appreciate Uganda's natural beauty as you capture the greatest images that will stay with you forever on your safari. The excitement will come from witnessing lions, lionesses, and their cubs as well as other wild species like elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes wandering around and grazing in the savannah. Following the majestic game drives transfer to your lodge to have lunch before heading for the Nile Boat cruise. You will have a terrific time on the boat as it brings you to the base of the Victoria Nile Falls. Many creatures, including elephants, crocodiles, a sizable population of hippos, buffaloes, and water bucks, as well as birds like storks and fish eagles, can be spotted here. You will enjoy seeing the majestic waterfalls while at the base of the falls. Following the boat cruise you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Have a leisurely breakfast at the lodge before departing for Kibale Forest. The journey will be made more exciting by the breathtaking landscape of the surrounding area. You will have lunch in Fort portal town, as you enjoy the fantastic views of the Rwenzori Mountains. Reaching your lodge in the afternoon, unpack and get ready for a guided nature walk. A guided nature walk in the Bigodi wetland, which is home to many different bird and primate species, is an option. After trekking through Bigodi wetland you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Wake up early for breakfast, then go to the park where you will get a brief tour before beginning your trip with the chimpanzees through the forest. One of Uganda's lovely locations, Kibale Forest is widely renowned for its numerous crater lakes and assortment of primates. You can also observe the chimpanzees in their natural habitat in the morning. These chimpanzees are equally fascinating, and your up-close interaction with them will provide you with an unforgettable travel experience. The Mweya peninsula in Queen Elizabeth National Park will be your destination after lunch, and you'll get there in the late afternoon. Have a great meal and get some sleep.
After breakfast, have a game drive via the Kasenyi track and other tracks where you can see a variety of animals, including lions, elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, and, if you're lucky, leopards, along with outstanding and gorgeous bird species. With approximately 600 different bird species that inhabit in the park, Queen Elizabeth has a variety of Uganda's habitats, including the Savannah, wetlands, lakes, and woodlands. With crater lakes like Nyamunuka, as well as different plants and woodlands, its beauty is breathtaking. After lunch, return to the lodge to unwind. Take a launch cruise on Kazinga channel in the afternoon; it's one of the park's most memorable activities. Enjoy watching many water birds, including hippopotamuses, African crocodiles, waterbucks, and buffaloes, along with their echoing melodies. After exploring the actual wilderness, return to the lodge for dinner and a night's rest.
After breakfast, go on a guided woodland walk in the Maramagambo forest in the hopes of spotting various bird species, pythons, and bat caves. Chimpanzee tracking is also possible in the Kyambura Gorge. After lunch, return to the lodge to get ready for an evening game drive through the park. Following the game drive depart back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Transfer to Bwindi after breakfast, going through the Ishasha sector where you can see tree climbing lions in the wild. About 346 bird species, 120 mammal species, 400 plant species, and 27 frog species are among the residents of the 331 sq. km Bwindi National Park. Take a break for lunch along the way, then continue traveling while taking in the breathtaking sights of banana and tea plantations as well as the region's general lush nature. When you get to the park, check into your preferred lodging. While you wait for the big day of gorilla tracking, eat dinner and spend the night.
Following a cup of tea, you and your guide should travel to the park headquarters for a training on the dos and don'ts when seeing the gorillas. Depending on where the gentle giants are located, the trip for gorillas through the mist rain forest might last 2 hours or up to 6 hours. Trekkers are allowed to spend a maximum of one hour with the gorillas. Be sure to bring a packed lunch, plenty of water, supportive shoes, flash-free cameras, rain jackets, and walking sticks for those who are less fit. Later, go back to the lodge and unwind. After breakfast, you'll drive for roughly 6 to 7 hours to Lake Mburo National Park. You will travel via Kabale, which has a spectacular landscape made up of terraced hills, forests, and banana plantations, among other things. After lunch, travel to Lake Mburo, a 371 sq. km area that is home to over 332 different bird species. It was inhabited by many species, including zebras, impalas, warthogs, topis, waterbucks, buffaloes, and reedbucks. Upon arrival, you will go on a boat tour on the lake where you may see many amazing things, like birds, crocodiles, hippos, and zebras. After dinner, get some sleep.
You will eat breakfast and depart for an early game drive as this exciting safari comes to an end. You may observe a large number of zebras, Impalas, warthogs, and antelopes there as they live in a variety of natural environments. It is essential to have a good camera, which in this case allows you to take better images of Uganda's actual wildness. Continue on your journey to Kampala, stopping along the way for lunch in Masaka and a photo stop at the Equator.
