These species serve as a paradigmatic example of the nation’s biodiversity, which is characterized by an estimated 18,783 different species of plants and animals. 50% of Africa’s bird diversity, or over 5,000 species, are found in the nation.
The nation is home to over 600 fish species, 350 mammals, 1091 plant species, 7 of Africa’s 18 plant kingdoms, 20 primate species (with the highest concentration of Mountain gorillas and chimpanzees), as well as lower animals, reptiles, amphibians, etc. It also has a variety of ecosystems that support lower animals, reptiles, amphibians, and amphibians.
It encompasses the vast savannahs, crater lakes, volcanoes, dense rainforests, RAMSAR sites, long rivers (like the Nile), and the enormous Lake Victoria, making it a tourist destination of unmatched splendor. When one chooses to see things through the eyes of Sir Winston Churchill, who dubbed the land as the pearl of Africa, one can thus fully appreciate the biodiversity of Uganda.
This 14 Day Best of Uganda Safari will therefore reward you as you get closer to wildlife and nature with a variety of forms. Starting with Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Lake Bunyonyi, and ending with Lake Mburo National Park, the safari takes you through some of Uganda’s National Parks.
The safari is planned to include a variety of outdoor activities, such as bird watching, chimp trekking, boat cruising, and gorilla trekking—the most notable activity in the legendary continent of Africa. One of the realities you will experience in Murchison Falls National Park is the idea of seeing animals in their natural habitats while enjoying a boat ride along the Nile river. Both the feeding and playing habits of mountain gorillas and the antics of tree climbing lions are impressive to witness. The main highlights will be game drives, cultural encounters, and trekking adventures.
