A 13-day adventure safari in Uganda promises to be nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment you set foot in this diverse and captivating country, you will be immersed in a world of breathtaking landscapes, abundant wildlife, and vibrant cultures. Your safari begins in the bustling capital city of Kampala, where you will have the chance to explore its bustling markets and vibrant nightlife.

As soon as you land at Entebbe Airport, a representative from African Safari Tour Holidays will meet you and drive you to the Lodge, where you can relax, have dinner, and spend the night at forest cottage.
After a satisfying breakfast, you will travel to the Murchison Falls national park, with the option of stopping at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. You'll travel approximately 305 kilometers in 5 hours from Kampala. The shortest route between Masindi town and Paara is approximately 85 kilometers. The top of the falls will be your first stop; after that, you'll head to the lodge for dinner and a night's stay.
Today you will have an early morning breakfast , followed by a game drive where you can see a variety of animals, including elephants, giraffes, lions, and Uganda kobs, among others. The park's main tourist draw, the famous Murchison Falls, as well as the River Nile with its gushing hippo and swarms of crocodiles along the sandbanks, as well as numerous different species descending to drink and bathe, are all visited during the afternoon boat ride.
Following an early breakfast, you will drive to Kibale Forest National Park, a home to numerous primate species. The park is the best place to see primates in the world with over 13 different primate species, however the main draw are the chimpanzees. This is a full-day trip that includes lunch in Fort Portal, a stop at the Amabere Ganyinamwiru stalagmite site, and a trip to the crater lakes. Proceed to Kibale and arrive there late in the day.
Start your day with an early breakfast, then head to the briefing center before starting your chimpanzee trek. There, you'll learn the dos and don'ts of cornering chimpanzee tracking. One of the best safari locations for chimpanzee tracking in Africa is Kibale Forest National Park. One of the most exquisite and diverse expanses of tropical forest in the entirety of Uganda can be found within the 795km2 Kibale National Park. There are many forest animals in this area, but 13 different species of primates, including chimpanzees, are particularly prevalent. Following your hike, you'll have lunch and visit Bigodi Wetland, where you can see a variety of birds and unspoiled nature, adding flavor to your inexpensive Uganda safari. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park later evening where you will have dinner and overnight stay.
You'll take a game drive in the Kasenyi sector early in the morning, where you will have a chance to witness various wildlife species including elephants, Uganda kobs, leopards, Impala, and other animals. After the game drive you return to your lodge to have lunch before departing for your boat cruise excursion.  In the afternoon, you will embark on a launch cruise where you will have the opportunity to see a variety of aquatic creatures, including crocodiles and hippos. The cruise will also provide you with the opportunity to see a variety of aquatic birds like Black-bellied bustard, Collarwed protincole, White-browed coucal,African Skimmer, Red-necked spurfowl among others. After the boat cruise you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After having breakfast, you will leave for Bwindi impenetrable national park through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you might come across the famous tree climbing lions. On this game drive you will also witness different wildlife like elephants, buffaloes, leopards, impalas, hyenas among other wildlife species. You'll have a stop for lunch en route and reach Bwindi impenetrable forest in the afternoon. Upon arrival you will be served your dinner and after you will be allocated in your respective room for overnight rest.
Wake up very early, eat breakfast, have your packed lunch and get ready for a wonderful day. Your guide will take you to the park's headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking safari. When you arrive at the park, other hikers will already be there and the park ranger guide will give you instructions on how to behave while trekking these endangered primates. Each person will be assigned a gorilla group to trek depending on age, health and other factors. Depending on the gorillas' movements, gorilla trekking safari might take 4-6 hours. After your trek, meet your driver and travel to Kisoro town where you will have dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will proceed to the park's headquarters center for a supervised nature hike on Mt Gahinga. In addition to offering excellent birding opportunities, a hike through the forest to the deep Sabinyo Gorge, a sizable gash in Mount Sabinyo's flank, offers the chance to see the Rwenzori ranges. This four-hour hike goes through the Rugezi Swamp, a prime spot for bird watchers on a Uganda safari. Different vegetation zones are crossed on the route to the border with Congo. Gisozi hill's calderas can be seen from the top, along with Kisoro and Bunagana towns, and Lake Mutanda can captivate hikers. Following lunch, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a canon cruise where you will have the opportunity to see a variety of bird species, crocodiles, and snakes among other wildlife. While on the Island you will visit the different islands and also interact with the residents.
Once more, rise early and have breakfast before your Guide picks you up from your lodge. Following that, you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park for some amazing wildlife viewing. You'll pass through stunning scenery on the route. South Western Uganda is known as the ‘’Switzerland of Africa``. While on this journey you will learn why it is called that. Your safari guide will make stops at significant sites so you can take pictures and enjoy the scenery. The Igongo Cultural Center will also be visited on this Uganda safari. Lake Mburo is the smallest national park in Uganda, covering a total area of only about 371 square kilometers. Papyrus gonoleks, Brown-faced lapwings, and Carruther's cisticolas are just a few of the more than 300 bird species that call that area home. In addition, the park is also a home to buffaloes, kobs, oribis, warthogs, and zebras. Lake Mburo National Park in Uganda is the best place to see zebras. In the later afternoon you will have your dinner and overnight stay.
Today you will wake up very early in the morning, have breakfast and leave for an early morning game drive to witness the early morning riser. On your early morning game drive, you'll see herds of impala as well as the less common Topi, Eland, and Klipspringer, buffalo Burchells zebra. Following the game drive departs back for Kampala after having a late breakfast and lunch at the lodge. On your way back to Kampala you will pass by a captivating attraction that will immerse your experience, reaching the city in the later afternoon for dinner and overnight stay.
Following an early breakfast, you will travel to Jinja for a full day of white water rafting as part of your Uganda safari, which will also include a mid-morning breakfast and lunch. Return to Kampala later.
After breakfast, you'll be driven to Entebbe Airport to catch your flight home with wonderful safari memories! Your 13-day affordable Uganda safari can also come to an end with a quick city tour of Kampala, followed by lunch and a transfer to the airport, depending on your flight schedule.
